Jeep and Sleep

This is just too funny! The other night, I put Drew to bed around 8:00, or so. At around 8:30, as Tim and I were decorating our Christmas tree, I heard him making noises -- kind-of fussy, kind-of not. I went up to check on him, and he was sitting in his crib playing with his "wellow jeep" (translated -- yellow jeep) and his new prayer puppy that he got from church. I softly told him to lay down. While I was tucking him in, I explained that if we needed to come back up because he was not going to sleep, that we would have to take his jeep away. Around 9:00 p.m., we started hearing him fuss again. This time, Tim went up to check on him. When he got to Drew's room, Drew was sitting up in his crib, holding out the jeep to Tim. Tim said to him, "Drew Bug, where you playing?" Drew responded, "Uh-huh. Here Daddy," and he gave Tim the jeep. Tim put it on the nightstand, tucked Drew in again and we didn't hear a peep from him for the rest of the night!

He is just too precious and funny ... and smart!
