Ball! Ball! Ball!

When Drew Bug was starting on solids, he loved strained peas! He would eat them anytime we put them infront of him. This transitioned well to can peas. He loved them. Then, well, he didn't. Since he quit eating them, I would occassionally put them infront of him again to see if he would eat them again ... no such luck. I thought I would try again today. So, I put his lunch together, and gave him peas. To my surprise, he began eating them. In fact, it was the first thing I had to give him another serving of! When I started to pay attention to his babbeling, I realized why he was enjoying them so much. Before eating each pea, he would pick it up and say, "Ball!" and then toss it in his mouth. Over and over and over .... ball, ball, ball. Then he says, "I eating balls!" How funny is that! I guess balls -- er, peas -- are back on the menu.
